Rohil Communication and Information Technology Office, Bangko Pusako - The Regent of Rokan Hilir Regency, Afrizal Sintong, S.IP., M.Sc., symbolically distributed basic food packages to flood-affected residents in Bangko Mukti Village, Bangko Pusako District, Rokan Hilir Regency, Riau Province, on Sunday (January 28, 2024). This time, 1,350 basic food packages were distributed by the palm oil mill (PKS) company PT. Mass 2, located in Bangko Pusako District, Rohil. PT. Mass 2 Public Relations Manager, H. Zulfikar, expressed his gratitude for the presence and willingness of the Rohil Regent to symbolically distribute the basic food packages to flood victims in Bangko Pusako District. "On behalf of the company management, we would like to thank the Regent of Rokan Hilir, Mr. Afrizal Sintong, for his willingness to attend this food aid distribution event. We would like to inform the Regent that PT. Mass 2 has donated 1,350 food aid packages to flood victims in Bangko Mukti Village, Bangko Pusako District. We are also willing to provide CSR funds to residents living near the company's operations," he said. In his remarks, the Regent of Rokan Hilir expressed his gratitude to the Management of PT. Mass 2 for their concern for the surrounding community by providing food aid to residents affected by the floods. "On behalf of the Regional Government, we would like to thank the Management of PT. Mass 2 for their willingness to provide assistance to residents affected by the floods in Bangko Mukti Village," he said. The Regent also expressed his hope that the people of Rokan Hilir, especially those in Bangko Pusako District, would contribute to the success of the upcoming general election, which is just days away. "We hope the community will make the election on February 14, 2024, a success. We urge neighborhood heads (RT/RW), village heads (Datuk Penghulu), and sub-district heads (Camat) to encourage their residents to exercise their right to vote and not abstain from voting, and to ensure a peaceful election," he hoped. On that occasion, the Regent also announced that the Annas Maamun Main Road will be constructed using the 2024 Regional Budget (APBD). He also requested that the community and companies maintain district and provincial roads by ensuring vehicle loads do not exceed the specified tonnage. The event was also attended by the Regional Secretary of Rohil, Fauzi Efrizal, S.Sos., M.Si.; the Chairperson of the Rohil Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Mrs. Sanimar Afrizal, S.Pd.; heads of regional government agencies (OPD); Public Relations Manager of PT. Mass 2, H. Zulfikar; and the Head of Bangko Pusako, Drs. Adnan, M.M., Rimba Melintang Sub-district Head Sukirman, Batu Hampar Sub-district Head Auzar, representatives of the Bangko Pusako Police/Koramil, the Datuk/Datin Penghulu and residents receiving assistance.
